Your trying to animate CSS transform values on an element that is within a element. Moving the defs element containing the linearGradient element into its own SVG. The animations and styling are all within style tags at the top of the SVG and it works perfectly in Chrome and Safari. You need to sign up for Treehouse in order to download course files.
