It appears that this may be an issue with Safaris implementation of clip-path.

It works perfectly in Chrome but I cant figure out Safari possibly other growers which I havnt tested yet. I started searching here for information on SVG and Safari because I wanted to view those Google pages also. I have no clue what is going on. One of the most common reasons why the SVG animation doesnt work is the use of tags to add the SVG. There does not appear to be an extremely reliable workaround.
